We welcome boat hire companies, bike and e-bike rental shops, kayak and paddleboard hire, and ski and surf rental shops. Join free, with no monthly fees. Customers pay you directly through your own Stripe account, and you only pay a commission when we bring you a booking.

Rentals FAQ

Good to know

Do I need a licence for a boat?
Some boats need one, depending on local rules. The rental company will check your licence in person; we never ask for licence numbers.
Is a helmet or life jacket included?
Safety gear is normally included; each listing says what comes with the rental.
Is there a deposit?
Some rental shops take a security deposit at pickup. It is set by the shop and returned when the gear comes back.
Who provides the rentals service?
An independent local business. AskBooked is the booking agent: we find availability and book on your instruction. The business provides the service and is responsible for it.
How do I pay?
When you confirm, you pay the business directly through Stripe using a secure checkout page. AskBooked never holds your money, and your card details are never shared in the chat.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Ask your AI assistant to cancel or move the booking, or contact the business. Refunds follow the business’s cancellation policy shown before you booked. For help, email support@askbooked.com.
