Documents FAQ

Good to know

Do I share my documents with AskBooked?
No. AskBooked never asks for document contents, ID numbers or Social Security numbers. You share documents and identification directly with the provider through their own secure process.
Will my notarization be accepted?
Acceptance depends on the receiving party and jurisdiction. Check requirements first; the provider can advise on their service but AskBooked does not give legal advice.
How fast is a certified translation?
Turnaround is set by each translator and shown with the option. Rush services, where offered, appear as separate options.
Who provides the documents service?
An independent local business. AskBooked is the booking agent: we find availability and book on your instruction. The business provides the service and is responsible for it.
How do I pay?
When you confirm, you pay the business directly through Stripe using a secure checkout page. AskBooked never holds your money, and your card details are never shared in the chat.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Ask your AI assistant to cancel or move the booking, or contact the business. Refunds follow the business’s cancellation policy shown before you booked. For help, email support@askbooked.com.
