Good to know

How is the price worked out?
Businesses set fixed prices by home size or by the hour. The total and what’s included are shown before you confirm. If your move turns out bigger than described, the business may adjust the price with your agreement.
Are my belongings insured?
Insurance and liability for your belongings are the moving company’s responsibility. Ask the mover about their cover before moving day.
Can I book a move-out clean for my bond or deposit?
Yes. Choose a move-out clean and tell your assistant the home size. Cleaners set their own inclusions and re-clean guarantees.
Who provides the moving service?
An independent local business. AskBooked is the booking agent: we find availability and book on your instruction. The business provides the service and is responsible for it.
How do I pay?
When you confirm, you pay the business directly through Stripe using a secure checkout page. AskBooked never holds your money, and your card details are never shared in the chat.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Ask your AI assistant to cancel or move the booking, or contact the business. Refunds follow the business’s cancellation policy shown before you booked. For help, email support@askbooked.com.
